Cutting it close?

I just called to find out when my dress is due to arrive at the bridal salon and the woman told me it will be shipped on April 24 and to allow 5 to 7 business days for it to arrive. I asked her if that was cutting it close, and she said 'not at all, we can do fittings within a week'. My wedding is June 2nd.

I'm not really worried, but it seems like girls on this board get their dresses much sooner than a couple of weeks before the wedding. What do you think?

I was with you... Kleinfelds told me the same thing that the dresses come in 6 to 8 weeks and I found out the dress is comin in early April. I called them and they said they'll try and move it up and now I found out the dress just came in and it'll be shipped to my mother's March 6th. Sooo excited!

Don't worry... the salons know what they're doing and you'll get everything done in time.

My dress isn't in yet and my wedding is in 18 days so cutting it close is not fun but as long as they have it in a week before the wedding I may be able to relax.

sure it will work out..my dress came in really quickly but they wont let me do fittings til 6 wks before my wedding day so it feels like i dont have it yet anyways, haha.
