'Day Of' do both dad's hang with the guys for pics? What about the moms?

We aren't having a rehersal, so I was putting together a packet of info for everyone including a 'day of' schedule.

We are doing all pics beforehand.

We are having all the guys meet in one suite at the hotel and all the girls in the other.

Do both dad's go to the guys suite? Or none?

Do I have to have FMIL come to my suite while Im getting ready?

Whats the norm?

I think the norm is that the parents of each child stay with their child..your mom and dad with you and his with him. That way, his mom can help him with his tux etc...

I think , like everything else, you can do whatever you want, but in most of the weddings I've been in, the father of the bride stays with the bride. I don't know about the MOG...usually I would think she'd stay with her son but since you all will be in the same hotel, she may want to come hang with the ladies...
I'd probably just base it on where you think they'd be happiest.

We're doing pics at OWG before but it's just FH & I with the BP. My family is arriving at the RH together and his is arriving together. Ceremony is at the RH. (why I am talking about this like you don't know what the deal is for my day of ).
We are taking family pics at the RH just before the ceremony.

I think traditionally the families are seperated until they all meet at the RH or church.

DH's parents were with him when he was getting ready and I was with my mom and brother and girls and looking back on it i was not with my dad, he was somehow off with his friends/family doing their own thing.

If you are all in the same place and want FMIL to be in your getting ready pictures, I am sure that is fine and you should just let her know.

My dad will be with me the day of and we will drive together to the church....FH will be with his parents.

never even thought about the fathers. My parents are divorced but they get along just fine so I guess he will be with us while I am getting ready. As for the FMIL/ FFIL I have not a clue.

idk about etiquette... BUT Dont you want your pops to take pix with YOU before the ceremony?

My parents will be at my house.. FH's mom- probalby will be with him... a bittersweet moment for both families ya kno?
