Met with Fox Hollow's florist this weekend!

and I have to say I was really pleased and impressed!

We met with the house florist at the Fox Hollow. His name is Richard. Really really great guy who has been in business for 37 years and he TOTALLY got what I have in my head but haven't found a picture of!

I told him I wanted to stay away from roses (nothing against anyone using them I just want to do spring flowers since there are so many available around our date) and I said 'if we have to I guess we could put one or two in the centerpieces or bo-ks or whatever' and he looked at me as if I was nuts and goes

'why? If you don't want roses there is no reason you have to have them at all! We can so much without using a single rose.'

Anyone who is booked at the Fox Hollow I'm telling you it is worth taking the trip to go meet with him!

AND the quote is waaaaaayyyy below what we ever expected to spend on flowers which is great!

That is good that you know someone who you are working with is experienced and knows his stuff. What is your RH's house vendor?

well we met with their house florist which is just the guy who is in charge of alllllll the flowers throughout the hall and the grounds. Not a retail florist company so to speak which is probably why he could give us such a great price on top of the fact that we get a $10 credit on each ceterpiece if we use him. It was written in our contract when we booked the room.

They also reccomend Pedestals though and we're going to check them and a few others out to before making any decisions.
