Veil websites or stores to shop at

I just got my gown on Monday night. Yipee! (MonCheri model b188, www.mcbridals.com, picture does not show the dress to well!) and I am starting to think of a headpiece , where should I start to look , are there any good websites or stores you can suggest? Also, where can I get those high healed white dancing shoes? I used to be a dancer and they are so comfy I was thinking of using them for the wedding day.

Congrads on finding your dress. That is such a great feeling. You must b so excited.

My SIL bought her veil and headpiece at the veilshop (I think www.veilshop.com).

I bought mine at C&H Bridal in NYC (40th/bet. 7th and 8th). It is a small shop but the woman gives you sooo much personal attention, she has ton sof headpieces and the prices are great. I had my first fitting yesterday and even the shop where I bought my dress loved my veil.

Got my veil at www.glamgal.com - it was custom made per my request and it was much, much cheaper than the quotes I got from other places.

also got mine at bridalheadpieces.com. very affordable and the owner, laura, is a doll. i was nervous buying online but i am thrilled with what i got and would recommend them to anyone.

Stef....I would, but all I have is the dress.
I have NO IDEA what type of vail/headpiece would look right with it!! As far as the hair, I know I want it up...

To see what style goes best with your dress, I would suggest going back to the store you bought your dress at and, if they'll let you, try on the dress again, with different veils. You can act as if you're buying the headpiece or veil there, and then just say you need more time to think. Its definitely a good idea to try on your headpiece/veil with your dress, thats the only way to see what really goes well. Good luck!

I bought my hair pins on ebay from Amy's Bridal and I also bought my veil on ebay from bridal reflections, and am very happy with both!

I found the perfect headpiece in a booth in Tri-County . It matches my dress 100% and even has stones (like fake diamonds) that match my e-ring !!!!! I'm having the lady custom make me one just a little different from the one on display. She's also custom making a chiffon veil for me.
All together priced at $140!!
