I'm so confused between BM dress colors! I need your help ladies!!
Just when I thought I wanted to do the color copper for the bridemsiad dresses b/c I am getting married at the end of September, the color chocolate brown has grown on me a lot. I am so confused about which color to use. I thought I'd use copper b/c it is different and not a lot of brides are using it. I love the color chocolate but feel that a lot of brides are using it. I don't mean to offend anyone if that came off rude.
It's a good thing they haven't ordered their dresses yet. Whew... Which colors do you girls prefer? TIA
ETA: The dress is chiffon so it is not a shiny material like satin.
This is the matron of honor dress.

I am using a copper color- I think it depends on the material and the dress... My dresses are gorgeous and I am in love with the color, but my girls are having an issue with finding shoes-just something to keep in mind

Hmm I agree-totally depends on the material. If you use satin, the copper looks sooo rich and unusual. with gold jewlery and burnished flowers in orange shades it would TOTALLY pop. The chocolate brown looks great in satin and chiffon so its really a matter of taste. Hmmm...you know you could do both colors; if you find a chocolate brown dress, many times you can order sashes in other colors.

ok, my girls will be wearing chocolate brown but in taffeta. Originally I wanted chiffon, but I really didn't like the way it looked with the chiffon material (it looked very flat to me, the taffeta material gives it a little more pop).....so I vote for copper, it will definitely look better in chiffon!!!

I am debating between copper and chocolate brown as well (except my dresses are in satin). My BM don't really like the copper as much because of the orange undertones. I think the copper is totally different. I am undecided at this point so I am interested to see what everyone else thinks!

Thank you ladies for all your suggestions.
I will be going to Macy's this weekend to order the dresses and I will make my final decision after looking at the swatches again.
I understand what some of the girls are saying about the material. I love satin and taffeta too but my girls just did not want to wear it. They wanted to wear chiffon b/c they felt that satin shows your fat rolls. I want you to know, none of my girls are overweight either.
Oh, and I am now thinking about putting my matron of honor in one of those colors and the rest of the girls in a different color such as the opposite of what my MOH will be wearing. Do you think copper and chocolate brown would look nice together?

I am probably going with copper myself or burnt orange (are they the same or just close?). I think it would show up nicer on the photos but I've seen tons of photos of girls in the chocolate brown with beautiful flowers so I see why you can't decide. I think brown would go nice with the copper. I guess you'd have to see them together to really know.

my girls are in cinnamon/Satin which is a cross between brown and orange. I love the color so i say go for copper.

I would say go for copper because I love that color, but with the material of your dresses I think the chocolate would look best! The combo would look nice also, I think they go together... I would see if they have any sample dress in both colors and hold them next to each other!
