So I put 1/2 hour earlier than start time....

Do I redo my invites? I had them done to read 2:30 but actual start time is 3:00. Will people show up early planning not to be late and have to end up waiting 1 hour to start???

Re: So I put 1/2 hour earlier than start time....

I know that if I received an invitation and the time said 2:30 start time, then I would probably show up around 2:15 or so..............So I think that is a bit of a wait for the guests......JMO though

I put half an hour earlier also. People are always late. At my friend's wedding, she was running like half an hour to an hour late and people were still showing up right before the ceremony started.

DO NOT WORRY ABOUT IT!!!!!
My REVEREND told us to put a 1/2 hour earlier on the invites!!!!
If people Really want to see you get married they would WAIT as long as they had to to see you!!!
That' s my opinion.

I am putting a half hour earlier on my invitations also. My catering manager suggested I do that , since I am getting married at my RH and I have friends that are always late.
