My 'Finger Waves' hair trial with PICS!!

This is the authentic finger wave style of the 1920's....I am going to modernize for my wedding day by not covering my ears and adding a bigger bun to the back with flowers!

I realize this look is very different, my family said they had never seen a hairstyle like this 'in the flesh!' LOL

You look so gorgeous with your hair down...I'd love to see you in a finger wave with some of it down (not sure if that contradicts the style or what)...or one of those glamorous old-style star down-dos!

i agree...i love your hair down and maybe if you can incorporate the finger wave with it down it would look so amazing. I definitly see the look you are trying to go for though

Its beautiful but havent seen a photo of our dress yet. Are you going for a vintage look with the gown as well? Even with a bigger bun, it is a very glamorus, very 'vintage' look (LOVE the earrings btw) so Id think the dress would have to have a similar 'screen siren' feel to it. No poof or ciinderella dresses or it would look costumey. But its a beautiful style and you have the features to pull it off. Its def going to be a stunner at the reception.

I tried that look with the darker lipstick with my dress. .. you can pull it off .. with my skin tone it looked so pinkish so my makeup artist decided to go more neutral.. Is matt doing your makeup also?

I am not too into this look. I love your hair down. I think it looks a lot better down. Maybe with the finger wave like the other girls suggested?? or are you set on this>???
