Can you transpose picture of me & FH at our wedding to an old photo?

I have a strange question. My father is ill & can't make my wedding. I was wondering if someone could take an old picture of my brother's wedding photo with my dad, replace my brother & his wife with me & my husband so it looks like he was at our wedding. I want my dad to have a photo with us on our wedding even though he can't be there.
I think he would love it. Is this very expensive to do? I would just need one.

It can most likely be done using Adobe Photoshop. This will probably require the skills of a graphic artist, or at least one who has working knowlege of Photoshop. Ask your photographer as he/she may be familiar with the program. I use Photoshop to alter photos with my montages all the time. The difficulty of the task may depend upon the orientation of the two pictures that you wish to combine.

Absolutely this can be done. Michael is right it is done through Photoshop and we have done it before. We actually had a similar experience last year where a bride's dad had recently passed away and she desperately wanted her dad in a photo with her in her album. She provided us with a photo that a family friend had taken at her sister's wedding the year before and we had her dad 'removed' out of the photo and placed in a photo we took of her that day on her wedding. Ask your photographer about doing this for you. As far as charges go, every photographer charges differently for this type of thing so it's hard to give a quote, but I'm sure he can accommodate you.
