NWR: can anyone recommend a good doctor in Suffolk county?
Hi ladies, sorry that this post is not at all wedding related, but I'm looking for some advice. I'm looking for recommendations for a general practioner doctor in the Smithtown area. I haven't had health insurance in a while, and I'm starting to have some health problems that need to be addressed asap. I'm hoping to find someone who is caring and honest. And who won't try to rip me off since I don't have insurance! (Only a few more months til I can be added to FH's insurance, yay!) Thanks in advance to anyone who can help me!

You should try calling the local area hospitals. They provide Physician Referral Services. All the dr's undergo rigorous application processes, certifications, have all their references checked (including past patients), have no malpractice against them, etc...
Mather Hospital - 476-2888 St. Charles Hospital - 474-6797 Mather-St. Charles Health Alliance - 474-6030 St. Catherine's of Siena - 870-3444 Good Samaritan - 376-4444
