What do you all have booked so far? Right now all I have is the RH should I be booking more right now?

Just realized we have the same date! So I think its ok to only have the RH booked

Slowly but surely I will get everything done. My biggest problem is finding a dress.

This site makes me feel like I haven't done enough yet. Everyone is so far ahead. I really think a year ahead is a good time to start booking everything. Now you have some time to do your research.

Yay, I finally have a date twin! I feel better now since i'm not the only one who doesn't have anything booked...but this website does make me feel like i'm really behind...a couple of days ago, sum1 who's getting married a week before me said she already had her wedding night hotel booked..so needless to say, I started to get worried

Yeah I think a lot of girls on here are really far ahead, which is great, but there is still plenty of time. I'll probably start booking my vendors and all this summer and I think it'll be fine.

And yay for date twins!

You have most of the major things booked, which is great. I haven't gone to any florists yet because I am having trouble deciding what I want.

For those of you that still have to book most of your big vendors, you still have time. Just start your research and book when you are ready. I wish I had listened to this advice when others said it to me.

We have the church booked and are deciding on the reception site within the next two weeks or so. A big project that's complete is my dress - found 'the one' yesterday!

I am pretty laid back, because I realize I have a long time to book this stuff, but this site does freak me out sometimes, and make me feel like I am far behind. We only have our RH booked, and photographer....soon I will work on the DJ, and I am going to go dress shopping in the summer.

i'm a july 07 bride... but just so give you an idea of what i did....


we got engaged july 27th, 2006 and our wedding is july 14, 2007.... so we had just under a year to do everything. so, you all have more than a year anyway, so you're ahead of where i was! i'm pretty easy going about picking our vendors.... so by september of 06, we had booked the RH, florist, photo/video, ordered the dress, tiara, and veil, got our DJ, & hair/makeup people..... we also planned the Engagment party and had that in september.

by december, we had our ceremony/cocktail hour musicians... save the dates & got my shoes, and booked our cake person & priest for ceremony.

in january, we ordered the BM dresses (which came in march, so that was very quick!)... we booked our honeymoon, found a calligrapher, booked a hotel for my girls and I for the night before the wedding, and got our invitations.

with just over three months to go... i am booking limos on monday... and here's whats left on my to do list:

-place cards
-favors
-wedding jewelry
-BM gifts (got some, still working on others..)
-unity candle
-ring pillow
-toasting flutes
-signature platter (instead of guestbook)
-aisle runner
-slipper baskets (not sure if we're doing this)
-bathroom baskets
-garter
-cake topper
-wedding bands
-tuxes
-menus

and i honestly believe that i will have more than enough time to do all of this... i plan on waiting until i finish my master's in may to really get working on these things.

so, i think you all have plenty of time! don't stress girls... this is one of the best times of your lives
