Help!! I need a good Dr.

Can anyone recommend a good neurologist? Suffolk County is preferred, but willing to travel. I can't go into it now, but any help would be greatly appreciated...

I've gone to Dr. Kenneth Chao (adult neurology and electrodiagnostic medicine) and I think he's good. Here's his info (he has two offices) if you're willing to travel:

dr schneider is really good. i can't remember where he's located right now (somewhere in nassau, but not too far over the border) but could find out if you want. also, dr ender on hempstead turnpike in bethpage.

My dad saw Dr. Winick as mentioned above after his stroke, I'd reccomend him also.

Dr Cecily Anto in Smithtown - she's great!

eta: and she knows when something is serious enough to send a patient to a specialist. my FMIL is having unexplained seizures - Dr. Anto helped her to the best of her ability, then refererred her to an epilepsy specialist at LIJ.
