Re: NWR: Wine Tasting
Our two favorites are Pellegrini (they have adorable tables out back for sipping a glass (or two
) and Bedell - their outside deck is to die for. I would have gotten married there in a heartbeat if the site fee wasn't $15k!!!!!!!!!
ooh, ooh!! I forgot!!!!! My actual FAVORITE is actually on the south fork in Southampton - Wolffer(Pellegrini and Bedell are on the north fork). It looks like a gorgeous chateau.
There are far more vineyards on the north fork, but if you are doing a hamptons weekend, I'd totally check out Wolffer. On their back porch you'd swear you were in Italy. It is GORGEOUS!!!
Oh man, I wanna go out there now!!

Re: NWR: Wine Tasting
ooh, also...I don't know if you're from Nassau or Suffolk, but if you're in Suffolk, and want to have a lazy summer afternoon, I totally recommend you hang around Sayville.Down the street from Sayville Village is an ADORABLE little vineyard that's owned by this 80+ year old man (I think his wife recently passed
). Its called Loughlin Vineyard. Its a hidden gem. The wine isn't the best, but its a tiny little hidden gem, and you can sit out and enjoy a bottle while you listen to Mr. Loughlin play some 1920's music on his radio. It's on Suffolk County owned property....totally check it out! I really want to have my bridal shower there!
