totally bummed!

FH and I have been waiting for our new couches allll day and they kept pushing back the delivery time. I took the day off of work so I could be here. Now they say they wont get here till 9pm!!!!!! We have to be somehwhere at 8. So now we may have to cancel and we can't get them tomorrow cus we have a first communion to go to and a benefit to go to and they don't deliver on sundays and Im startinng a new job so I cant take off to wait. So now we may have to cancel and find new couches. Im so upset!

That's insane and poor business practice!! I would give them a piece of my mind and let them know that this is unacceptable!!!!

DId you try calling and speaking to a supervisor and tell them that this is uacceptable. YOu had a scehduled time and they are ridiculously late and they should do something about it to make you happy since you are the customer.

If you dont mind what store is this? I dont think i want to be bothered with them when i furniture shop i cant stand when you have an appt and people are reidiculously late!!!!

this happened to me several times last summer. you need to tell tem that you MUST recieve some sort of compensation. ***I'm not bashing these places, so no one get offended***

It happened with Pottery Ban and Fortunoff. I told them that I did no feel like a valued customer and these were poor business practices.

In th end I got a couple of hundred of dollars from fortunoff (500) and 200 from PB for the inconvience. Heck, you can use all the extras you can get when trying to furnish your new house.

This is Macys right now that this is happening with. Now it says online it won't get here till 10:30!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Thats so insanly late!!! We are going to the store sunday and complaining. We woud go tomorrow but we are sooo busy and just won't have a moment to get over there. We are refusing to pay for shipping and Im going to let them know I lost $200 from missing work to be here and I could have been at work making money!! I get paid hourly not salary right now cus I am temping till my new job begins.

Yeah, I'd FORCE them to deliver it before work on monday morning... telling them clearly that you leave for work at 8am (30 min prior to your departure time), and you will contact the BBB if they don't.

Also ask for compensation for the hideous inconvenience. It's amazing how the BBB comment can move mountains...

Im going to be commuting to the city so I leave for wiork at 7:15, 7:20ish. I dunno if they would even do it that early! Now it says 9:20 delivery time. It keeps changing. Im so annoyed and FH and I are super moody. Haha such a nice first day in our apartment and first day living together.

Its Macys, we ordered from the Furniture store on Long Island and when we called the store they said they were in wantah and we were the next delivery. That was 2 hours ago.
