looking for a good indoor picture place in suffolk

have a great place for outdoors pictures, but need a place for indoor pics in case of foul weather. looking for something like EAB plaza (in uniondale across from the nassau collessium). already looked at the holtsville ecology and its too small and most hotels wont let you use them unless your having your reception there. please help.......

I don't have any suggestions, but just wanted to say I'd be interested in this as well.

Re: looking for a good indoor picture place in suffolk

Does your hall have a room for it? I looked at the Fox Hollow and they have a room they call the photography room for their brides. Or, how big is the bridal suite at your hall? Good Luck!

Re: looking for a good indoor picture place in suffolk

we can take pictures at the hall but since they do 2 weddings at a time there we cant get into the place until one and a half hours before our ceremony (ceremony is at the reception hall) and we wanted more pictures before hand

Re: looking for a good indoor picture place in suffolk

Please let me know what you decide to do. I am also having my ceremony and reception at Villa's and was planning to hopefully take all my pictures there.

Re: looking for a good indoor picture place in suffolk

Our photographer recommended the Holtsville (or is it Holbrook....?) Ecology Center. I guess it is an arboretum. I haven't seen it, but I did see their number on the Town of Brookhaven web page...I'd post it, but I don't have it at work.

anyone know of any parks in the area that have an enclosed (indoor) area, maybe a greenhouse or a lobby for something?

Re: looking for a good indoor picture place in suffolk

I spoke with the Marriott in Hauppauge a few weeks ago about using their lobby for pictures in case of rain.

Although we didn't need to use it, the Marriott said that we could use the lobby if we needed it. The lobby is pretty and the location is convenient to the expressway.

Hope this helps.....
Jeng
