Vendors - Staten Island / Queens

I'm from Staten Island, NY. Our reception is at Russo's On The Bay.

Can anyone recommend any vendors?

I know tony ferrari photography is in howard beach, he also has an office in astoria.

Designs by rose? ahhh i think that is the name is also in howard beach.

Jackies cake boutique is in staten island

yeah the one in astoria and howard beach is the same one. They have been in business for a LONG time about 20 years i think. Fh's parents know the owner and have heard great things about the pics they take...Its funny though people in howard beach get quoted alot less than people at the astoria office

Or maybe its just for Russo brides who knows

Ok you get to hear from a Russo's bride.. I'm from the '08 boards but I'm crashing in here.. lol
I'm acutally using Tony Ferrari Studios- they are amazing! We're using them for video and photography.

For flowers I'd try Flowers By Brian- I didn't book with them but they are also amazing- they were my second choice. We booked with Flower Michele.

DJ- Another Russo's vendor..lol- SoundCheck Entertainment- we met our DJ Mike Nappi (think that's how he spells his last name) and he's really cool and right on target on what FH and I want in the ways of music. It's going to be fun working with him.

Im from SI too and I was going to book VIP Illusions for video but then we decided just to keep all our vendors from the LI/Queens area since thats where we're getting married. But yea VIP was really good.

How are they price wise ?

They're reasonable- FH and I were trying to really stick to a budget down to how much per person we wanted to pay for a RH. We actually got more 'bang for the buck' at Russo's than anywhere else.
The vendors are great- video/photography are costing us about $4,000 and that includes an engagement shoot as well. DJ (no MC) is $800 and they are throwing in Ceremony music for free since we're having everything at Russo's. Flowers Michele is around $2,000 at this time (if we have to add more CP they will be a bit more but nothing dramatic). Flowers By Brian was about $400.00 more than FM but still they were really nice as well so it was a hard choice.
