Need Info!!! For a Rehearsal Dinner --Which one????George Washington Manor Vs The Milleridge Inn

Future In-Laws have put FH and me in charge of finding a place for the rehearsal dinner

We have been having a hard time finding a place!

Any info on either place (George Washington Manor OR MIlleridge Inn) would be greatly appreciated!!!

How is there food, service, decor? I looked at eh website & they both seem like they can accomodate us....

Thank you for any info!!!!

I would say milleridege inn its bigger.. are you going to do it in the larger restaurant area or maybe one of the rooms in the back? I worked there a long time ago for 2 weeks of my life.. I have been to a shower at GW manor and I remember it being smaller.

I would vote for Milleridge Inn on the basis that the food at GWM is not very good...JMO

I am getting married at the GWM! The decor is old, colonial- the building is a historial site. The people who work for the GWM are amazing! They are warm, accomodating and go out of your way to make your event special. Janine Phelan is the BM and she is a sweetheart! The price per person is very affordable and the food is delicious! They include small centerpieces on each table [if you were having a few tables!] I highly recommend them based on their food, charming decor and awesome customer service!!

They are both owned by the same person, so you are safe either way. I'm a little biased about the Milleridge,so I'd say have it there HOWEVER I work down the road from GWM and we've had corp. things there and the food & service was excellent.

I think you are safe with either one!

Milleridge does have more rooms to choose from then GWM,

GL!

I would probably try to do it in one of their smaller rooms that can accomodate about 25 people

I guess I need to go and visit both-- but I wasn't sure about their food...I want to make sure the food will be good.
