First Fitting! Pics in Album

So today was my first dress fitting. Aside from a minor freak-out when I was told my dress might wrinkle in middle because it had no boning in it (sample was strapelss so I ordered the dress thinking it was that way and turns out comes with STRAPS and without them, needs additional -cue more expensive- alterations to add boning to sides so it stays up) everything went fine. They will add the boning and though we still have to pay for it, I would rather do that then argue and have them do something to my dress.

After many long battles with veiling, I think I have settled on the one in the pic. It's simple, takes nothign away from the dress and it stays out of my face! That was the most important requirement. I am really unhappy with how lopsided I look, but cest la vie. One day I too shall be symmetrical!

What do you girls think of the whole look? The piece that you can't see too well on the side there, is the one ym MOH gave me. My hair WILL be style don the big day

It wwas in a tiny ponytail today and it poofed from so many veils being put on and taken off.

beautiful!!! and i never would have noticed the price tag had you not said it was there! love the veil too. the edging has just the right touch to it.

Thanks ladies. I cross posted this and mentioned in the other thread that I ahd a run-in with a birdcage veil which is why i deiced on this kind...

Lets just say THANK GOD there were no cameras in that place because I don't want to be around next time someone tries to try on that veil.....

No, Snickers. Its a Mon Cheri. I got it at RK Bridal. Hate their service-owner is a prejudiced piece of ahem! I am a good little christian...

But there prices CANNOT be beat especially if you want a pricer designer.

The lace is alecon so it was a little pricier than another more elaborate non lace dress might have been, but with pricey alterations and veil I am hitting the thousand mark so I think I did good.
