I'm crashing from the '07 Boards...Need Hawaii--Maui advice-- the question is a bit specific......

Did anyone have a catered dinner on the beach?
I am looking into this to suprise FH and I am confused as to which compnay to go with-- The hotel does it --it seems more reliable since it's an established hotel (but to be fair my guidebook recommended the other company and said it was very romantic)
the hotel (the Hyatt Regency on Maui) seems less private -- I called them and they said we will hear people walking by us (about 15 feet away).....hmmm don't know what to do
