UGH!! MARRIAGE LICENSE VENT!

UGH!! MARRIAGE LICENSE VENT!

So FH and I went to the court on 161st in the bronx (after I got out of work) we both got there at 3pm (they close at 4PM) we had to leave to get a money order ( i thought they took cash)..anyways..we come back in and wait on a line (there were two lines, one to pick up the aplication and the other one is where it gets processed)...so we are waiting on #1 for the application for a good 15mins...there were about 15 people in front of us...keep in mind its 3:05pm... after 15mins of waiting on the line the clerk tells us that they are no longer giving out applications! W T F!! Its 3:20pm! not 4pm! She insist that they close at 3:30pm..when on the door it says Mon-Fri 8:30am-4pm...and even if they close at 3:30 like she said we were still good because it was only 3:20..to make a long story short..we didnt get our licence and this lady had the worst attitude problems! I am sooooo furious! Good thing FH was there to calm me down

On a good note..we stopped by a grocery store and I picked up some scratch tickets. I won $36 bucks! So it turns out lotto is going to be paying for my marriage license (if I can ever get it lol)

dude i can just imagine! the clerks at 161st courthouse SERIOUSLY lack customer service skills in some of those depts. i'm so sorry you had that happen i know i would've been so aggravated. MEAN PEOPLE S UCK!!!!
