Affordable Wedding Invitations

Hello All!

I was wondering if any of you can recommend and website or place where I can find invitations for an inexpensive price? We are on a budget and don't want to spend a lot on them.

thanks in advance.

Re: Affordable Wedding Invitations

You might want to consider making them. It's a lot cheaper and they come out just as nice.

I found this website: http://www.formal-invitations.com/invitation-instructions.html

You can order everything from them and they add a Microsoft Word Template so you can design the invite yourself. I priced it and for 250 guests and some extra stuff so if I screw it up I won't have to make a new order it came out to a bit over $300.

Also you can check out the Microsoft website and download templates for invites for free as well.

Re: Affordable Wedding Invitations

I went to invitations and beyond and they had some reasonable ones. I didn't spend that much either for 175 invites

Re: Affordable Wedding Invitations

I got a catalog from Now and Forever, and they have some cute invitations for very inexpensive prices! Most of them aren't 'traditional' wedding invites, but are more modern and colorful and really fun. Heres the website if you are interested...now and forever

Re: Affordable Wedding Invitations

I went to the Invitation Station/ Swee Nut Hut in Deer Park. Cathy was extremely helpful and had great suggestions. If you give her your budget, she will definitely show you invitations within it. She's incredibly friendly and knows her stuff. I got 150 invites for $300 including self-adhesive envelopes and extra envelopes.

Re: Affordable Wedding Invitations

i paid about $100 for 75 invites, paper for both menu's and programs ( one per couple on the program one per person for menu), and place cards at micheals. I am spiffing it up being a graphic artist and doing something very different with it but its deff. the lease expensive way of doing it .. just have to be able to print them out yourself. I am going on press for free.

Re: Affordable Wedding Invitations

if you are willing to print them yourself the kits that AC Moore and Michaels carry are great. I especially like the Anna Griffin ones at Micheal's.
they have a vellum over layer and you tie the 2 layers together with ribbon. They are 50/box with outer envelopes, reply card and envelope $39.99 but I wait for 50% coupon!
Here is my invite. I am still trying to figure a way to do a .jpg with the wording on it but here's the style. I just mailed them out and all I talk to can't get over how different, elegant and pretty they are.
