First Wedding Nightmare!!

It wasnt anything CRAZY! And Im sure a lot you have had this one. I was all dressed and ready to go, about to walk down the aisle and then I thought to myself, 'I havent booked anything!' Wheres the DJ? Im not gonna have any music?? Where are the photographers??' And I tried running away to find someone to help me but the people walking me through the doors (I didnt see faces) wouldnt let me go!!! Then I woke up realizing, I really need to start booking my vendors! AHHHHHH

I had just about the same dream.... I was siting at the reception and there was basically nothing... I was flippin out ... omg... I didnt book the photogs, etc etc

I think about this stuff so much... I have a wedding related dream almost every night... Its crazy.. I know I had one last night but I cant rem what it was!

I KNOW!!! lol Well, my parents told us they would help us get married the end of May and we started looking at RH's. Fell in love with Jericho Terrace and booked on the spot in the beginning if June. FH and I have been together 6 years so we just wanted to get married already! Now, Ive been trying to set up meetings, I met with 3 photgraphers and about to meet with the 4th tomorrow. Its just hard because I work nights. SO waking up early for these meetings is brutal! Im probably going to make a photographer decision this week. Then next, Ill deal with flowers and DJ.

Oh wow... I can imagine how tough it is working nights and being on a total opposite schedule from most jobs/vendors, etc!

I'm sure you have alot more time than you think to get the vendors you want... You chose a Feb wedding which I'm sure plenty of vendors will still have your date open! We amaze ourselves sometimes dont we???... Things always get done one way or another whether we have 2 yrs or 7 months

I'm confused, is your wedding in Feb or May?

Either way you shouldn't have many problems since especially Feb is considered the 'off' season and they'll be clamoring for you to use them so you should get some great deals!

Oh Im sorry! That does sound a little confusing. The end of May I had a talk with my parents about how bad FH and I want to get married and thats when they offered to help us. We set our date for Feb 2nd! I definitely have the date working for me since a lot of vendors are not busy around that time. Im trying to use it to my advantage lol But so far, most prices are staying the same. Some photogs have offered to throw some things in but nothing crazy.

I had the same exact dream right before I started planning except in my dream I didn't even have a dress. I was wearing my communion dress and veil and everyone was waiting for me to walk down the aisle. It was scary and hilarious at the same time. Don't panic. It will all come together.

I had a dream it was my wedding day and we were all ready to leave and we realized that we told all the vendors the wrong date and we were running around in our dresses and tuxes trying to find a dj and flowers and limos... it was nuts
