Those are beautiful and I can't believe you did them yourself? How long did it take?

Re: DIY Pocketfold Invites finally finished!

They look REALLY great!!!!!

Can I ask what you used to glue the papers to the pocketfold? I bought a few different things but am not sure what is actually the best for it to STAY on permanently.

I can't even begin to calculate how long it took . I've been working on them on and off for probably a month and a half. Cutting out the cards took longest since the paper cutter I had wasnt cutting them right ( for anyone who does decide to DIY beware thin borders!) so I had to cut 3 cards for each of the 100 invites I made by hand with and exacto and a ruler For me what as worse is that I have a bad back and leaning over to cut them would put my back into spasams after only 5 or so.
They came out good and I love them but I already told FH that next time we decide to get married don;t let me do this again ...it's the perils of being a bride since no one ill ever care about the details as much as we do.

I tried tacky glue first as someone on the DIY board had said they had used but for me it was too wet even with the thinnest coat so I ended up using a rolling adhesive strip by TOMBO MONO the permanent kind.

I got it in michaels but you can get it much cheaper from ebay. I went through a lot of refills since mine had 2 layers probably 8-10 by the time i was done. But it works really well.
