Crazy past two weeks! E-pics, Bridal shower, florist, invites mailed!!

I just wanted to share my crazy two weeks!! We took our engagement pics with Gary Leli our photographer and had a blast! the weather looked so bad all day and i was worried cause we were taking them outside. As we were driving to our appointment it started to clear up, i was so happy. We debated with Gary about going to the beach to take our pics like we had planned or going to a nearby park. FH and I really wanted the beach cause flowerfield looks like a park and we wanted something different(also he proposed to me on the beach so we wanted something with a beach setting). We went and even though it was still cloudy it was actually perfect for pictures! It wasn't too hot and the sun coming through the clouds was so pretty. I'll try to attach the pictures, otherwise i posted a few of them in my album...there were just too many to post.

Then a few days later I went to Lovin Oven Floral designs to see my centerpiece and bouquet. We made a number of changes to my bouquet and my BMs but im really happy with how it is going to be now. And the centerpieces we made a few changes but i think they will be gorgeous! i attached pics in my album of just my centerpiece but without the changes made.

Two days later I was going to my cousin's baby shower...turns out it was MY SURPRISE BRIDAL SHOWER! i even got a fake invitaiton to my cousin's baby shower and i got her a gift for it too. i was so surprised and confused when i walked in cause i saw my cousin standing in the front and i thought they were yelling and my mom and i for coming late and missing my cousin! hahah they got me good and what a great ploy! luckily my cousin didnt want a baby shower but she is due really soon. It was at Guy Anthony's in Merrick and it was so perfect! It was so intimiate cause it was only us in the restaurant and it was all sunlight with tons of windows and the food was GREAT!!! The appetizers filled us up and then we had salad, meal and dessert! My BMs and I went through so much wine too, whoops:) it was so nice to see everyone there.

My sister(MOH) and Mom did an amazing job planning it along with some help from some of my BMs. They planned this game where my FMIL and I had to guess what my FH said, who knows my FH better? his mom or I? guess what, i won!!! we also played a few other games that were very creative! and they had a guessing contest for everyone about how many kisses were in this vase(chocolate kisses) but they made a sign that was perfect for me. It said how many kisses does it take prince brian(FH) to wake princess april(me)? and it was a picture of prince philip kissing sleeping beauty from the disney movie. I love that picture, it's my favorite. Even FH had made me a sketched in picture of that as a gift one time. There were so many creative things and so many pics but i only posted a few in my album again.

Oh and then last wed the 27th i got up and ran to the post office by me in NJ at 8am and got the 41cent love stamps! they were supposed to have the 58 but they told me to go to this other post office, i ran over there, after gettting lost since they gave me the wrong directions and they had them! good thing since the one out by us on LI didnt have the 58 cent love stamps. So i then drove to LI and stuffed envelopes all day and mailed them out:)

oh and one more thing...we're registered at Fortunoff and we got our tuxes at Dante Zeller and we didnt even realize we get a deal since we're registered at fortunoff. The groom gets to KEEP his tuxedo. I realized that at a bridal shower at fortunoff two weeks ago. So i called up dante zeller and told them and they told me to come in with the dante zeller advertisement from fortunoff. So the deal is that the guys, if you are renting at least 5, are suppoesd to pay without any deals about 151 for tuxedos. well we had gotten all the guys a deal for 135...so we were prepared to pay the difference cause 75 dollars is cheaper than ever buying FH a tuxedo....well the guy said since our entire bridal party has already paid and all he'll just keep us at our 135 price!!! So now we're getting FH a free tuxedo to keep! perfect since we have some black tie weddings to come to in the near future:)

thanks girls!!! it was crazy but so much fun! during the engagement shoot i felt like i was on ANTM(america's next top model) hahah
