Skinny B!tch

has anyone else read this amazing book???

Skinny *****

i picked it up at B&N after seeing something about it on TV. it is such an eye-opening book about the damage we do to our bodies without even realizing it. i urge anyone interested in leading a healthy lifestyle (duh, who isn't?) to read this book!

I just read it. Eye opening is an understatement. I never knew the extent of the cruelty in slaughterhouses. Needless to say, I will not be eating animals anymore.

Re: Skinny B!tch

Keep seeing it in the book stores, but never picked it up. I have so many of these books, that I wasn't sure if I should invest in another one. Sounds like I will have to after reading this post.

My sister read this and wants me to read it now. She said it was amazing. She doesn't eat any meat now and it is a vegan.

Re: Skinny B!tch

I bought this book for my sister...I thought it was about staying healthy, but I didn't know it was against eating beef, chicken, pork, etc....
Well, before I could give it to my sister, FH picked it up and read the first few pages. I started reading it and I am never eating beef, chicken or pork again. I may dabble in fish and I'll try my hardest to not eat dairy. I already drink Soy Milk.
I am not going to preach to other people about what they should and shouldn't do, but this was an eye opener for me and I am done eating dead animals.

Re: Skinny B!tch

Alright I just finished it..

I was grossed out in some parts, but found them to be honest and humorous about getting up and doing it.
I can not say I plan on following the plan at all.

Re: Skinny B!tch

I read the book and was shocked by the animal cruelty. However I dont think I can drastically change my life as much as they suggest...however I have been eating meat a lot less and have been on a more healthy track

I tried the vegan diet for 2 months...and def lost weight. But it was sooo hard to go out and eat. So I then started to eat dairy. And now I am kinda back on meat...just b/c it's easier to track on WW. But soetimes I am so grossed out by it

Re: Skinny B!tch

I haven't read this book yet. I was vegetarian for several years when I was younger and it is just a very difficult lifestyle to live. Seeing the profound effect this book has had on many of you, I think I will wait a little longer b4 reading it....
