I was looking forward to this engagement party for a long time. I loved that we decided on the casino theme, and it worked out so well. It was a HUGE hit, people were playing all nite, i think some even for real money lol, and i gave out prizes.The week before the engagement party i went to atlantic city with FH for the whole week so when i got back i literally ran around friday like a nutjob, took a Xanex and was sooo calm. It really helped.
Everything got done.
Weather A++++++++++++++
The weather was amazing on saturday, and i just kept thinking of all the 777 brides getting married. it was just a gorgeous day!!!!!

Garden City
They kept the drinks flowing, we had a private room, with a separate bar, and it was amazing, i had a few to many but felt great, we had amazing appetizers that were passed around, and also a few platters of the italian meats and cheese.
We had a great buffet selection, and everyone raved about the food, it was really unreal, there was just so much food it was crazy
Huge hit. They had a dance floor area, i turned into a casino, it was awesome, we had 2 slot machines, Roulette table, and 2 card tables!!!!

NY Casino Parties A++++++++++++
This was definately the highlight of the night, the dealers were charachters and everyone loved them. They set up and broke everything down on time, they were even early. It was just so exciting watchign everyone have the time of their lives!!!!
Lee wants to have the casino tables for our day after brunch because they were such a hit!!!!

Favors and Place Card Holders
I worked with Jeff, for these. I was away the week before but i sent FMIL to pick these up, it was a smooth transaction and everything was perfectly boxed up and ready to go!!!!!
I got Wine Charms that have the card suits and also keychain favors with king and queen of hearts
DIY ME and my BM A+++++++++++++++++++
Place cards, Table Names, candle and rose petal centerpieces, 777 scratch offs and Menus
We made all these together, we went to acmoore bought the card stock, my invites were black and red, and i matched the paper for the menus. We went to kinkos cut everything down to size. and i bought the frames at acmoore for the table names. There were some bumps along the way, but just cause acmoore was out of stock on the paper for a couple weeks, and they discontinued the adhesive tape i was using, but they had replacements very quick. I will rate both of us cause we did an amazing job. They scratch offs were a big hit. And the menus just made the room.
Hair and Makeup

I had my hair and makeup done, i loved my makeup, but i wasnt thrilled with the lady who did it, Lia. She was kinda a know it all, didnt let me look as she did it, and i kinda wanted to be involved a little bit. i feel she rushed. and i think i paid alot for it. I think she took maybe 20 minutes to do it.
Again i loved it, i wanted dramatic, i wore a black dress so it went well.
Hair-Erica from Lumara, man i have alot of hair and she curled each piece for me. People said my hair looked fake like i had extensions in.
it stayed in all nite, and everyone loved it.
Dress
Bloomingdales A++++++
I originally bought a jessica mcclintock dress, but felt it was to childish. It had a poofy skirt, so i returned it for something short and sexy, with a plunging neckline. I ended up getting a BCBG dress, that was just to die for gorgeous!!!!

Bracelet and Earings from Nadri
They were pave and just sparkled like crazy, they really just accented my whole look i was going for
I wore the diamond heart pendant Lee got me for christmas and it went really well.

I got the most gorgeous shoes from betsey johnson, they were on sale, and had the last pair in my size, i wore them all nite and they were 5 inch heels, i looked like a giant, but i just love feeling tall and sexy!!!!!!!
They were HOTTTTT
FFIL used our Camera and recorded the whole party, it was great i love that we have it all on video.
I had a vanilla sponge cake with chocolate pudding filling and whipped cream topping
it was really good and everyone loved it!!!!!!!!
