Girls going to Sandals St Lucia!!

FH and I are in the process of checking out honeymoon spots. I think we really agreed on St. Lucia and most likely staying at Sandals Grande.

When FH saw the plunge pool room- he was amazed he was like thats the room I want. But I think those rooms run $1,000 a night?? AM I RIGHT??

OH so...whoever is staying at the Sandals in St. Lucia if you dont mind me asking what rooms did you get and about how much a night is that room...?? If you don't mind.

the grande has a plunge area (if it is what im thinking of) Its behind the Spa., FH and I used it. Its not something I would personally do everyday. So if you are intersted but dont want to spend the money the Grande has it and no extra cost.

I also have pics of the grande in my album. I cant tell you how much because we went with FH's parents and his kmom is a Travel Agent

Yeah I was talking with Tom last night but we are waiting to really go through everything when we can speak with chris as well. so prob this sunday.

which hotels you staying at again? tom said he was going to show me those as well..but thought I could get a head start so I don't confuse tom as to where we want to go haha

We are staying at sandals Halcyon we got the regular room in the smaller hotel so we can stay longer. The best part is sandals has exchange privileges so you can stay at one and play at 3. We figured why spend all the extra $$ when we can stay at the small one and use all the stuff at the big one!! LOL

but just so you know.. they 3 hotels arent that close to each other. and the grande is the furthest.

ok we're going to sandals grande, and we have the room that you can swim up too, because I love the fact I can swim and get myself a margarita or something haha .. plus I heard that you get better views with this room, not sure if its true, but one of my coworkers told me that.. and ill fm you the prices we are paying per night!

10-15 min shuttle from what i was told anyway..........but weither way i like smaller resorts its more romantic and relaxing cause there is less people. FH and I werent even going to take a HM before we saw this promo we were just gonna go to the poconos and i really wanted to go away!

Check this out.. because im ALMOST positive on this. at the grande there is ONLY 1 pool that has a swim up bar and It is NOT attached to the hotel rooms. So the room that you have im pretty sure it where i stayed and the room does have a pool for you to go out into but there is no bar. infact there are very few people who use that pool because of that reason.

oh you will have a blast it is beautiful. we had a great time. but we ****** it up and stayed and only the grande because we didnt want to travel back and forth. and it was horroble to do because the grande only had 2 places for dinner that we liked.

i forgot you asked the price....we are going for 10days and it was 3500 but we ddnt get airfare yet ...our date was too far out. so it will be like 4500 or so i gotta look for bargains!

put in your dates and what resort you want to stay at it will give you a rundown of each room and what price

i am staying in the Penthouse Oceanfront Concierge Room bc it was the cheapest room with room service.

basically... i forget how it works exaclty but you got into HOT water then into COLD water. its not an area in a pool, at the grande there is an area where its located. There are 2 hot tub like pools.

there was also a sauna there

Thanks Matilde. Actually I tried that and it wont let me do it for my days because I am booking for Sept 2008 and flights arent out yet so it wont let me get the info without picking flight depareture for some reason.so i checked it out for this sept but i am sure the prices change...

that room sounds nice...if you dont mind me asking what is included in that room? is it have a jacuzzi or whatever and balcony?? lol

oh i cant wait to talk to Tom again I am like ready to book already haha only if FH didnt care haha
