Cute DIY Place Card Holders with photo

I was catching up on my livejournal friends list when i came across a post that reminded me of a project i did with girl scout troops and for parties i've helped with
It was fun and easy and very cute.

These are the directions i have saved from the website.
1. Use one skewer to pierce a Styrofoam ball. Holding the skewer, paint the ball green. Paint one skewer green. Let all the materials dry.
2. Fill the miniature terracotta pot with floral foam.
3. Glue the moss or the flowers to the painted Styrofoam ball.
4. Pierce the Styrofoam ball with the painted skewer. Cut the skewer to the desired height and pierce the floral foam to create the topiary shape. Use a little hot glue to anchor the skewer in place.
5. Use moss or flowers to cover the floral foam in the pot. Glue the materials into place for stability. As an optional finishing touch, add a band of grosgrain ribbon around the pot.
6. Using the blade of the scissor, create a groove in the top of the Styrofoam ball and use this to set the place card.
