BM dress shopping (very confused! need you girls help!)

How does the whole process work? How far in advance should I have them try it on and place the order (I already picked the one)? Also, I notice that a lot of brides on here take pics of their BMs trying on their dresses, how do you find a store that has so many of the same exact dress in stock? I'm just confused! I am planning on ordering their dresses from netbride but at the same time I want them to get sized correctly so I know what size to order.... Please help a confused girl out!

I would alow 4-6 months. I didn't go yet, but plan to within a month.

IDK about the sizes. Every place I went to had samples only..

i took pics of my bm's trying on dresses, but i never saw more then one sample dress of each kind, and it was usually in just one color (and usually i snuck the pick in the dressing room lol)

about sizes... u can have your girls measured claiming that you are going to purchase the dresses there (but make up some excuse like 'oh can u measure these girls now while im here, but i dont want to place the order till i have all of my girls measured, and i have 2 others that need to still come in') and then write down these measurements or have them make a copy and claim to the people that u will be back lol i know its bad but what can u do? lol haha

Another thing you can do is try on samples of all sizes, from 2-12 and see which one is the closest fit for each girl. They will order the one that fits perfectly or is slightly loose....only order it if it's kinda snug and the person plans on losing weight.

so do you mean to have them try on other samples from the same designer? So in the case of my bms, I should have them try on any watters and watters dress just so I know the way the sizing runs?

yeah haha they dont know how many girls u have in your bridal party lol so just pretend u have more..but jsut say how u want to place the order together

I was told that you have to order all BM dresses @ the same time to ensure that they are cut from the same bolt of fabric. there may be slight variations from bolt to bolt - so you can always back up your reason for wanting to wait to order by saying that.
