Weather-A++++++++++++++
We had such an amazing day!!!! It was 78 and partly sunny which was perfect for pictures. We really got lucky because the days prior it was 90, humid and we had horrible rain storms. Once we got to the VYC on the water there was a nice breeze and it was a little cooler, which was perfect. We could not have asked for nicer weather
St Barnabas-Bellmore-A+
I had a really great experience with St Barnabas from the start. Everyone there was really nice and helpful and the church is gorgeous. Our day was amazing! The music was out of this world (I had a trumpeter and an organist) everyone is still talking about how amazing the trumpeter sounded.
Venetian Yacht Club-Babylon-A+
My banquet manager was Bill Kennedy and he was fantastic to work with. Everything the day of was absolutely perfect. My Bridal attendant was Theresa-she was wonderful. The Maitre’D was Lisa-she was also amazing. We took most of our pictures there and everything turned out perfect. I was nervous about there being another wedding there at the same time, but they really did an amazing job, it never felt like there was another bride and groom there. The food was EXCELLENT everyone is still talking about it and the service was excellent as well. VYC brides you will NOT be disappointed!
Cake-Audrey’s Bakery-Sayville-A+
When we went to pick out the cake the baker was really nice and helpful. We knew right away we did not want to upgrade and we wanted to pick one of the cakes that was included in our package. The day of the cake looked exactly like the picture and tasted delicious!
Wedding Gown and Bridesmaids dressses-Lillette’s Bridal-Baldwin-A+
I had such a great experience at Lillette’s! Carol helped me find the perfect dress and she was wonderful to work with. I must have tried on 20 dressed the first time I went and then when I had gone back a second time to order the gown I tried another 20 dresses just to be sure and I was!! The first dress I had originally fell in love with was the one I ordered. My gown was a Mori Lee, the sample I tried on was champagne and I ordered it in white (I loved the dress even more when I finally tried it on in white). Laura did the alterations on the gown, I didn’t need a lot of work done, just taken in on the top and the bustle. Laura was fantastic!!! She was really nice and did an amazing job, especially on my bustle, which I loved and held up the whole night with no issues!
My girls also ordered their dresses from lillette’s and had their alterations done there as well with no issues. Their dresses were Alfred Sung in Windsor blue.
Day of Jewelry-Macys
I purchased my earrings and bracelet from Macys in the Broadway mall. The earrings are 1928 jewelry and were only $30, I loved them! The bracelet was by charter club.
Tiara-Estelle’s Dressy Dresses- Farmingdale-A
I loved my tiara! The sales girls in the bridal section of estelle’s are really friendly and helped me find the perfect tiara to match my gown!
Tuxes-Town and Country Tuxedo-East Meadow-A
I chose this place solely because it is close to our house. I never heard great things about tux places they all seem to get the same review. The people here were very nice to deal with and they have a decent selection. The tuxes were clean and everyone’s fit the day of. We had no problems.
Hair-Jen the Hair Genie-A+
By far one of my favorite vendors of the day!!!! Jen is an amazing hair stylist!!! I loved my trial with her, but she really out did herself the day of. My hair came out gorgeous, I was so happy!!! Jen was so fantastic the day of my wedding not only did she give me and my 3 sisters great updo’s she also helped me get in my gown!!!! And she gave my sisters lessons on how to help me with my train!!! She was so great, I’m so glad she was part of my wedding day!! I HIGHLEY recommend her!!!!!!!!
Makeup-Oskana-A+
Oskana was amazing!!! She did amazing work at my trial and my make up the day of was 100 times more amazing. I loved having Oskana around on my wedding day! Not only is she a wonderful make-up artist she is also a wonderful person!! She was def one of my favorite vendors – I HIGHLEY recommend her!!!
Invites- eweddings.com-A
The first proof I received had some errors on it, but I corrected it, sent it back and the final proof was perfect. I had no problems ordering my invites online, this company is easy to get in touch with and responded quickly to emails. I was very happy with the final product.
Calligraphy, Menus and Programs-EZ Calligraphy-A+
Michelle was so fantastic to work with!! She printed my outer and inner envelopes and designed and printed my menus and programs. I was very pleased with the work she did for me! She is reasonably priced and has a quick turnaround time. I highly recommend her.
Photographer-FM for details
DJ-Dynamic Beat-A+
Bill from dynamic beat was really fantastic! From our first meeting I could tell he was going to be one of my favorite vendors to work with! At our final meeting before the wedding I was really nervous about there being another wedding in our room right before ours. Bill explained to me how these RH’s do this all them time and he even explained to me how they are able to turnaround the room so quickly! He was really able to relieve the anxiety I was having about this!!!! The day of they were so fantastic, anything DH or I needed Bill and the DJ’s were able to help us out!!
Limos-Royalty- A+
I loved the limo drivers we had!! (can’t remember their name, but they were great) They really went all out for us!!!! They showed up early and we actually got to the church a little earlier than we were supposed to so I had a little time to chill out before I had to walk down the aisle. During pictures after the ceremony the limo drivers kept bringing me champagne in between photos!! We used 2 Chrysler 300’s for the BP and us and a regular town car limo for the parents. All the cars were new and clean. They were really great!!!
Flowers-Flower Barn-A
I worked with Mike at flower barn and he really did such a great job on all my flowers. Originally I had wanted French white tulips for my centerpieces, but because tulips are not in season in June Mike had a hard time getting them and was afraid they were not going to look fresh. So after some debating I decided to change my original CP’s to high CP’s with white roses and hydrandreas(sp?). I have to say the CP’s really exceeded my expectations and came out gorgeous. Our Bok’s also were gorgeous and still looked fresh the next day!
Garden City Hotel-A+
We stayed at the garden city hotel on our wedding night and I’m really glad we did! We got the room for free when we booked our photographer. The hotel is really gorgeous. Our room was a suite, with a king size bed, a sitting area and a big bathroom. Everyone was really nice at the hotel! In the morning we ordered room service breakfast, which was so fun and delish!!
