Hair Salon Recommendations (for Curly Bride!)

Hi there! First post for me!

I've been reading all the salon reviews and recommendations . . . and I'm wondering whether someone out there can recommend a great place for me. I've got thick curly hair, which I'm planning on keeping curly for the wedding. And I've got two straight-haired maids. We'll be in King's Park that morning, so anywhere near (Commack, Huntington, etc.) there would be super.

I haven't lived on the Island for years, so I'm way out of the loop in the salon scene.

A few places I've heard good things about are Bocu, Cactus, and Papillon. Oh, and a place called Salon Zeba, where there's supposed to be a guy named Stephen who's great with curly hair.

I'd love any advice anyone can give me.
