what have you done so far today?

I have:

Searched for a job

Done laundry

Emailed several former co-workers about finding a new job (they've offered to help me).

Made dinner (it's an unsalad that requires settling and refrigeration)

Called my mom (as you can see, I'm reaching for stuff here).

Finished a liter of diet pepsi.

Fought off the man, who likes to bear hug me when he's fresh out of the shower and not toweled off (this was a chore; I'm including it).

I'm going to work out soon and then work on writing.

Also, I have not watched tv in over 48 hours. That counts for something.

spoken to a friend
spoken to DH
spoken to a possible employer
shredded some papers

Let's see I've:

Taken the dog out to pee twice
Fed the dog
Made coffee for Kevin (note, I don't drink it, it's really just for him)
Made breakfast for me, ate breakfast, watched the news
Took a shower
Did hair, got dressed, brushed teeth
Drove to work
Turned on computer
Changed calendars (yes, that's plural)
Read work emails, read personal emails
Did an online puzzle
Got ready for a meeting I have at 2pm
Came onto LIW, clicked on this thread...

I soooo slept in today.
Like- seriously- I got out of bed at... hmmmm 8:40 ish.
I have eaten meals.
I have done VERY little actual work.
My boss wants me to come back tonight, with my dog, to work all sorts of OT, with no set in stone plan to pay me for that OT.

researched dog breeds
did a mini-sketch of planned design for basement (next on design/furnishing list).

Am very hungry but too lazy to go and get anything.

I had a random thought that I wanted to give up tv. But then I remembered that our tv cost alot, so I feel like I need to get my $$$ worth

I don't feel like it somehow.

LIke I haven't seen the latest Rock of Love. I think that I'm done with it. They really make me feel embarrassed to be a white chick.

It is like my favorite show - although that might reflect on the quality of summer tv. Sundays was average. You know you try to resist, but an all day marathon will pull you in one of these days

planned our getaway
went shopping for socks, wife beaters, a hat for the bomb, the Garbage greatest hits cd (hence the #1Cursh post---an all time fav of mine) and picked up the new Interpol CD)
ate my smoking hot empanadas
stirring the pottie on LIF
making photo copies

It's the next day. I have a short term memory problem. I don't know what I did yesterday for the most part. Except eat.

Today I:

Woke up
Showered
Got dressed - 3 times because I didn't like my clothes.
Packed lunches
Laid out clothes for the boys
Let the dog out, cleaned up his morning mess and fed him.
Made a protein shake and drank it.
Woke up the boys
Made them french toast sticks
Poured them milk
Hopped on the computer
Hollered at the kids to clean their mess
Fixed the seams on my 4 year olds socks because he can't stand if they touch the sides of his toes.
Supervised the kids dressing and packing their camp backpacks.
Gave my 4 year old soap in the mouth for calling my 6 year old a 'little b*tch'.
Gave my 6 year old a time out for pinching my 4 year old.
Brushed my teeth, supervised the kids brushing their teeth.
Drove the kids to camp and sang 'Joy to the World' with them. Fielded the same 3 questions about the song: 'Why does a frog drink wine? How do you get to be friends with a frog? Why should the fishies need joy when all they do is swim around?'
Lectured Robbie about his wiseass attitude that got him in trouble at school the day before. Told him that he needed to pretend to conform so that Mommy didn't get in trouble anymore.
Stopped at Starbucks for a Venti Iced Vanilla Latte with 5 shots of expresso. They forgot the vanlla and the drink tasted like ash flavored milk.
Drank it anyway.
Went to work
Chatted with co-workers.
Played on PC.
Yep. That's about it.
