Someone needs to explain the limo tipping to me!
Why do brides tip on top of the 20% that is already included in their bill

Depending on the job the drivers do, I would give them $50 or something like that just to say an extra thank you. If you don't think they deserve it, don't tip!!Limo drivers are pretty much with you the entire day, I guess that is why brides give them a little extra.

I can understand if they go over and beyond like some drivers do, but if not they not going to be a happy camper on my wedding day for sitting in the car!

ONE OF MY GOOD FRIENDS DRIVE FOR WEDDING AND HOURLY OUTINGS AND THAT 20% THAT IS INCLUDED IS THEIR SALARY NOT THE TIP. SO, IF YOU TIP THEM...THEY ACTUALLY GET THE TIP. ONCE AGAIN, IT DEPENDS ON THE SERVICE THEY GIVE YOU.

I own a car service and I agree - don't tip above and beyond the 20% unless they give exceptional service..

The 20% is their salary...it is not their tip, so we are giving a little extra. HTH

I never knew that was their salary - When I hear 20% gratuity I assume that is their tip - Many drivers might be missing out on a tip because of misunderstanding

O wow. That is not cool! One limo service waived the 20% fee and told me to pay the drivers what I see fit since they are getting their salary anyway. Maybe each place operates differently?

My limo company did not include the 20% so I tipped him generously.

Exactly. It's the same thing with the gratuity at the RH. It pays the waitstaff's salary, it does not serve as their tip.
