My really quick wedding review- 7-27-07....Fox hollow, Rev. Nick, Golden Moments, FM Entertainment

Hello all....
2.5 weeks after the wedding I finally have a moment to sit with my computer. I will do a formal review when I get my pro pictures in,. For now.....

My biggest piece of advice is ENJOY YOUR WEDDING DAY !!! I knew it would be a blur, and I really wanted to just relax and enjoy it...but alas it was a real quick blur, but I loved every second of it. DH and were disappointed with a few things from our vendors (small things), but we were the only two who noticed that things weren't as we expected....in fact some of our friends think we are crazy because they thought everything was perfect.

The following vendors didn't disappoint us at all, and in fact were better than we expected. They were the 'stand out' vendors....

Fox Hollow- They did an awesome job, every one of our guests raved about the food and the service. I have to say that my Maitre'd (Karen) and bridal attendant (megan) were INCREDIBLE !!! I knew that they would be good, but they were beyond belief. They were always around when necessary and were taking care of things even before DH or I realized they needed to be taken care of. They took care of everyone in the bridal party, and always had a smile on and everything under control. I think they need a HUGE raise!!!!! or some sort of bonus because they made my wedding run so smoothly! They even got me my outdoor ceremony that I had my heart set on!

Rev. Nick- a Fox Hollow recommendation- We hired Rev. Nick because he was the best priced and because supposedly the Scotto family use him for their private functions. He was awesome. Before the wedding he was a very relaxing force. During the ceremony he was flexible and kept everyone 'entertained' without taking away from the specialness and seriousness of a wedding. My friends loved him and thought it was one of the best ceremonies they had seen.

Golden Moments- What can I say for now....I haven't see the proofs but I know they will be awesome. Dan and Pat did my friends' wedding in June and their proofs are freaking amazing.... I am starting to get impatient for my photos....
But i think I wanted to see the shots after every shot was taken! hee hee. They showed up the Fox Hollow early and started working right away. Even with all my girls running around trying to get ready no one felt uncomfortable with Dan and Pat around. The photo shoot was easy and fun, and not hours of boringness or work. Even the 'posed' shots didn't feel posed!

FM Entertainment- Mike did an awesome job. He kept the party going, and trust me it is a hard job when you have a bunch of older Chinese family, and older Polish/Italian family members who aren't big into dancing. On top of that my friends kept running outside or to the bar! Mike had everyone dancing and read the crowd well. We only had a basic package, but I don't think we needed anything else with Mike dj-ing.

Well, I will get to everyone else, once I finally get an internet connection in my house. And after I figure out how to do the review. I will post pictures as soon as possible.
