Pics of Your Favorite Wedding Cake! **UPDATED W/ PIC!**
Girls, I need your help. My cousin is Gail Watson, of Gail Watson Cakes. Click Here! If you have never heard of her, her work has been seen many times in Martha Stewart Weddings, and she is frequently a judge on numerous Food Network shows. She has made cakes for countless famous people.FH and I were at a family function the other night and I saw her. She offered to make our wedding cake for us. We have a meeting with her on Thursday. But I don't know what design I want!! Her designs on her website are gorgeous, but nothing really jumps out at me. She asked me to bring pics or ideas if I have any, to our meeting!! HELP! Please post pics of cakes that you love. TIA!
UPDATE!
FH and I went yesterday to meet with Gail and decided on a different version of this cake!
We will be taking out the center tier of flowers and the flowers on top will be sugar peonies, hydrangea and roses...in pale pink. She will also put our monogram on the second tier where you see the white space! I am super excited to see how it comes out!! And the most important part...
Dark Chocolate Cake, Cannoli Cream Filling, Buttercream Icing!! Yummy!
I can't wait!! 20 more days!! Thanks for all of your pics and ideas girls!

I had a beach themed cake, which i don't think is what you are looking for..haha...but just wanted to say...How freakin cool for you!!!!!!!! How about giving her a general idea & colors and letting her surprise you???

I know...I am very lucky! Her beach themed cake [on her site] is awesome too...one of my faves! It would be cool for her to make a design for me- she's offered to do that as well, but I am such a control freak that I think I want to know what it will look like!! Ugh!

haha..i am a control freak too...but i gave my baker a pic and said...do something similar...that's it...and it was a fun surprise that day..i loved what she came up with and it was freakin delicious! She has some amazing cakes on her site!
I always liked cherry blossoms to for some reason..and the whole 'less is more' cakes as well...here are a few for ideas..

Thanks for the pics, Kath. I think I am leaning toward a buttercream confection that has ornate scrolly type of detail. I would want to have our monogram on it too! Decisions, decisions!

I have some pics in my album that u can look at. I love when brides incorporate designs from their other wedding items into their cake sure as a swirl from their invites.

I love that leaf cake!!!! I gave my RH a pic of it and they are going to re-create it, except I'm using apples in place of pumpkins .....I wonder if I'm taking this apple theme to far
