I also love LI Weddings.com,alot of useful information.But i also like the knot too in different ways.The reason the knot gets more attention on different programs is because it is a national web site not just geared to Long Island Brides.But really who cares because this web site is geared to us here on Long Island and i like it very much.

I have to say this is the best website as well. The Knot has too much going on with all the different sections. Its good but it needs more organization. To find a thread I didn't start or posted on and read the suggestions takes forever!

Hi Wacky I have seen you on the knot.

Hope all is going well with your planning.

I must say I do like the knot, but in terms of getting great advice and prompt responses to questions this site wins hands down. Whenever I post a topic on the knot I get maybe one or two responses, sometimes none at all.

On this site, I do not have to worry about that.

I tried The Knot when I was planning, and I didnt care for it as much as theis site. Cant help it but this is addicting

I've abandoned The Knot for good...everytime you post or respond to something there, you get slaughtered. Just not fun, and this site is much more friendly and informative!
