Funny Story Wedding related

Last weekend Fh and I went to go block off rooms at a hotel. while we are standing at the front desk for our tour, another couple comes up to the counter who is also getting married and looking to block rooms.
we start talking to them ask where they are getting married and they are also getting married at Westbury Manor and then I asked what weekend they tell me as ask me the same. I tell them my date and say that was the date we wanted! It was quite amusing especially when the woman at the desk said I guess they beat you there and here!
it was weird, yet funny and I thought you would all enjoy that story and imagine running into people who wanted your place on your date and they didn't get b/c you had it!
