My church just called....this is crazy

I booked my church more than 1 year ago for May 17th at 3:00 pm

They left me a message today....someone else booked 3 pm before me but it was written in a different book

So they offered me 2pm. Not bad right? More time for pictures?

edited to say I am having a full mass & cocktail hr. begins at 6:30

That's terrible! Although having it earlier could be a blessing in disguise - more time for photos so you can make it to your cocktail hour and mingle with your guests!

I am glad it worked out for you, now you can have more time for pictures, and you do not have to worry about guests being late, they have more than enough time to make it to the reception.

I am glad it worked out for ya! And to tell you the truth...I personally think you will need the time for pictures. My church was three and cocktail at 6:30. I did not have a full mass but the hall was about 30-45 mins from the church. I felt like we had to rush the pictures...esp. since guests start to show up at 6 and interrupt pictures and stuff!

It is all for a reason!!! Glad you don't seem too upset. I guess the invites weren't printed yet?

G-d, you are handling this so well! I am totally impressed! Very calm! It will totally work out in the end, and your day won't be rushed at all. Pictures will be so relaxed.... No pressure

I agree that 2.00 pm would be a better time. I would rather be an early bride than be delayed. Can they move her up to 3.30 pm at least to make sure everyone gets out in time?
