I have a form of Muscular Dystrophy (MD), so the effort is close to my heart! Hope you don't mind me sharing info!

I just wanted to say please don't forget to tune in TODAY for the 2007 Jerry Lewis MDA Telethon live from South Point Hotel in Las Vegas. And to please donate if you can! If not, please pray for progress towards a cure and continued strength for those living with MD.

Just to give you guys some info about MDA in case you don't know:
The Muscular Dystrophy Association is a national voluntary health agency dedicated to conquering more than 40 neuromuscular diseases that affect a million Americans of all ages. MDA combats neuromuscular diseases through programs of worldwide research, comprehensive medical and community services, and far-reaching professional and public health education. MDA has more than 200 offices across the country, sponsors 255 hospital-affiliated clinics and supports nearly 400 research projects around the world.

MDA supports more research on neuromuscular diseases than any other private-sector organization in the world. The Association's comprehensive service program includes medical examinations, flu shots, support groups, MDA summer camps for youngsters and assistance with purchase of wheelchairs and leg braces. The Association's programs are funded almost entirely by individual private contributors. MDA seeks no government grants or fees from those it serves.
