I've been a busy bee! check out my DIY!!!!! table #'s, cardbox holder, memorial candle, slipper baskets & favors!!!!!
K, so I've been MIA on LIW b/c I've been a DIY nut! (was that enough acronyms for one sentence or what! 
Here's what I've been up to!!
My cardholder cake box.....I thought I'd save myself some  by doing this myself.....but guess what! I spent just as much! I won 2 auctions on ebay for the hatboxes......yea they would've been cheap without the shipping! that was a total of $30. Then I went and bought fabric to cover the hatboxes- that was another $30! (although I bought more than I needed), then between all the little embellishments I spent prob. another $25. Hey at least I did it myself!!! here she is in all her glory!  did I go overboard w/ my little flowery thingys?? I'll give you the before and after shots:

My CD's (ok so these aren't SO DIY, since I used a vendor to print one of our e-pics right on the CD so there's no labels and for the cover & insert- www.catskillcd.com- I highly recommend!!)....I burned the music on to all the CD's though!!

and my LOVE coasters- I got them in the personality boxes by Kate Aspen, but was a little disappointed by the color- it's a little more sea green then it is blue.....but oh well!! no one will know that I was expecting them to be brown & blue! I'm hot gluing 2 boxes together so everyone understands they should take 4 coasters (they come 2 per box)
I almost forgot my slipper baskets!!! I have 2 baskets, but only took pix of one- I went a little nuts w/ these- I bought 80! more than enough!!

Love it! and I have it so I can practice! Just an fyi.... i changed one of the words when I did mine... one of the lines is "oh sister, get up" and since Russ and I get mistaken for brother and sister all the time I thought it would be a bit weird so I changed it to "oh wife, get up!"

OMG! You just had me laughing out loud!! as soon as you said "oh sister get up" I knew where you were going w/ that one! whichever word you want to use is fine lol!!
