unity/mem candle w/pics!

Finally finished my Grandmother's memorial candle and my Unity candle! Let me know what you think!

Maybe this is a dumb question..what exactly do you do with the memorial candle? I'd kinda like to have one because FH's mom passed away and I'd like to honor her...but when/where/how?

You usually have it on the altar, you can have it already lit before the ceremony, or, im going to light it in front of everyone, our priest will say something like 'In honor of Danielle's Grandmother, she would like to light this candle to remember her on this day'.

Thats really nice. I want one at my wedding on a memory table... but a lighted one not fire... don't need all that hairspray around flames

I'm going to put mine in my reception room right when people first walk into the room. Unfortunately I've had quite a few of my friends die young and my Aunt won't make it to my wedding, so I want it to be there the whole time.


ETA: The candles came out great. I really like the flowers on the memorial candles.

I think they look beautiful...how did you get the rhinestones on the candle?
