Hair/Make-up on North Shore
Hi there,
I'm getting married in Locust Valley (near Bayville, Glen Cove, Oyster Bay) and am looking for a great place or person that does hair and make-up on my wedding day in that area. I have no idea where to start. any suggestions? thanks!

I used to go to Blonde on Blonde, its in Glen Cove. Joanne is the owner and she does absolutely amazing hair. I stopped going b/c I moved out of the area and was too lazy to drive back and forth lol But there's also Darren's salon in Glen Cove (on Forest Avenue) he did my hair for a few weddings too

I have a makeup person who lives in Bayville and will come to you - she does makeup for commercials, etc. I can Fm you her info if you are interested.

I used to go to a wonderful girl named Dina at Dante Fluers in Greenvale. I know she moved just a block or two away to another salon when Dante closed... I will ask my mom if she remembers the name of the salon.
She does hair only --- The makeup artist at Dante was great. I'm sure if it's a good salon, then the makeup artist there is good, too.

Mia from B r i d a l l o u n g e.com (just take out the spaces) is AMAAAAAZING!!!!!! she's very highly reccomended on here..u'll find raves upon raves  She REALLY takes her time and makes sure u love your look...she spent hours with me & we tried all different ideas untill it was EXACTLY what i wanted  ....and she comes to you! here's some pics..i used her for hair & makeup.
