Card box from The Modern Bride. (ETA:Pic) UPDATED!!

Has anyone NOT been happy w/ the card box your received from them? I got an email today w/ a pic of my completed box and I'm VERY disappointed.

UPDATE:

I emailed Stella and she was very gracious & very accomodating! I made some suggestions and she is going to change the box. Turns out her embroidery machine has been broken for over 2 months, so what I have is an iron on transfer. She found someone else to do the embroidery and will ship my box out Friday!!

I know in the grand scheme of things it wont matter, it was just that all the boxes I've seen from her have been beautiful and I was so disappointed when I opened my pic. But she is a true professional and is really going above & beyond to make sure I love my card box!

Well, for one-the bottom looks gray as does the ribbon around it. My colors are ivory, gold and chocolate, so I'm not sure if their lighting is just really bad. Our names looks like it's a sticker when I thought it was embroidery or something to that effect. I had also asked for someone to contact me to talk about the design-never got that call... I emailed them w/ my concerns, my wedding is still 2 weeks away-hopefully they can do something.

Thanks for the compliment, but I'm not liking it at all-esp. after the other work I've seen them do.

Devon your cardbox was my inspiration! Were your letters stitched into the material?? I had also asked for that little flourish thingy you had under your names. I hope they're able to fix it, I was so excited when I got the email.

hmm, i think I understand what you are saying.. it looks like the bottom is a light oatmeal color.

You should email her asap to correct the color if you don't like it..

I JUST got mine in the mail yesterday & my wedding is in 3 days.

The name is actually painted on fabric & stuck onto the box.

I ordered from her in July and haven't her a peep since. She sent me an e-mail in early August saying it would be done in early October. We'll see!

BTW, I know you didn't get what you wanted or paid for, but it does look very pretty!

Yes, it was....I had to pay extra for that & the little symbol though....

She'll work with you....she originally put blue daisies on mine and I was like Ummmmmmmmm PLEASE take them off haha

Maybe she found it difficult to incorporate the 3 colors together?

If she makes the bottom chocolate brown with gold outline around your name that may look nice.

Yeah, it was actuall in March that you posted (have it saved in my notebook!) And then she had her baby premature and all that. I do understand, but I'm still not happy. I emailed them, if I don't get a response by tomorrow I'm going to call the # on the website. Thanks girls!!

I can totally see why you're upset... but before you mentioned that the bottom and the ribbon looked gray, I thought it was champagne... maybe it's just the computer??? But after looking at Devon's... you can def tell that her names were embroidered and your names do look like stickerish... but I think your box is beautiful!!!! But if you paid for it and you're not happy then make her change it!

I promise you one thing... on the day of your wedding you are going to have such a fabulous time that you are not even going to care what your card box looks like!!!! I paid a RIDICULOUS amount of money for my cake and it turned out to be the wrong color and I didn't care... my Bok was supposed to be bigger and have crystals but it was small and plain and I didn't care.... I just enjoyed the day, enjoyed the company and partied it up!

Hope it all works out for you! Don't let the little things upset you!

I think its very pretty! But if its not what you expected or want then contact her, from what the other girls have said Im sure that she will work with you.

But really-try not to sweat it or let it bother you too much, the day of you wont even notice it
