Anyone using a wedding planner or DOC?
So I am still unsure if I need to get a wedding planner and/or DOC.The reception (and possibly the ceremony) will be at the Bourne Mansion and since I will be planning from Calfornia I am thinking that maybe I need one???
I am meeting with Flower Michelle who I will probably end up using - does anyone know if they work with planners or does anyone have any good suggestions?

Christine Viola from Exquisite Affairs...she's great. I would recommend having a DOC even if you are planning locally. Let someone else do the dirty work on your big day!

Re: Anyone using a wedding planner or DOC?
i was going to - but most RH's give you a person in charge of helping you the day of....so i felt it would've been a waste of money...not that it's as far as Cali - but i'm planning from Jersey & you can get a surprising amount done via email & phone....

Re: Anyone using a wedding planner or DOC?
Not that much is done.I havent even thought about flowers - color schemes or just the overall 'theme' or feel of the wedding.
I am just nervous being so far away that I would need someone to deal with all of the vendors the months leading up to the wedding.
Even though the Bourne gives you a DOC I think I really need help with just planning the little details. I have NO idea what my color scheme will be - and Im thinking of having the ceremony at the mansion as well which adds a completely different layer into all of it.

Christine is the BEST!!! She knows Flower Michele very well and every single vendor I brought up, she had the 411. She is knowledgable, patient and very creative. You should get in touch with her.

Re: Anyone using a wedding planner or DOC?
I am using James at The Perfect Wedding Planner as my DOC and Perfect Wedding Planner as my 'planner' but I never use them for anything as of yet. I know the DOC will be perfect though. They are a Scotto company.
