Ladies Please pray for my family

This afternoon my mom and my aunt came to my job to inform me that my grandma passed away. This is truly saddening for me, b/c my g-ma raised me until I was 15 yrs old. She did not attend my wedding b/c she was afraid to fly. So I was planning on going to Jamaica on Christmas eve to spend Christmas with her. She told me she could not wait for me to come so that we could watch the video together. Our videographer was being so wonderful rushing the completion of our video for me to get it in time for me to be able to have it with me to share with her. My G-ma was a wonderful woman. She will be missed by one and all. I just had to share with you all b/c it makes me feel better to write. We will be flying home to Jamaica to bury her. Please keep us in your prayers. Thanks all for reading.

This trip was supposed to be a joyous occasion and now it has turned into one of sorrow.

Of course you are in my prayers. I know what you are going through. My grandmother raised me as well. She passed 8 years ago.

My condolences go out to you and your family.

Shamma, I am sooo sorry to hear about your grandma. It's always hard to deal with a loss of a family member, but it's especially hard during the holidays. Shamma, please know that you are in my thoughts and prayers in your time of need. Also know that even though G-ma was not there on your wedding day in person she was there in you heart!
