best brazilian ever! ((denise i think i found your wax!))
Okay so today I tried this new spa by my house - it is on Crossbay Blvd in Howard Beach.
I was SO NERVOUS to try a new place bc I have only entrusted my brazilians to my favorite lady but this place is like 10 blocks from my house so I had to give it a shot.
So I get there and I can't parallel park so I get all nervous and break out into hives and I have to park like 2 blocks away bc everyone was watching me - great start.
Then, it is this young girl, her name is Sivan and I wanted to DIE bc she is this young cute girl and here she is waxing me and I havent gone in FOREVER!
But she was super nice and made conversation and she put me at ease right away. She is like I look at 20 of these all day long - dont worry LOL so for the front she used this purple wax and that was okay . . .
but for the rest she just pours this hard wax on there and then lets it dry - and i start sweating thinking it is going to hurt when she rips it off and then she rips off one side ( with no strip, you just pull the hardened wax), then the other and. . .
that's it - it was done in less than 10 minutes and it got every single hair!!!!!!!!!!!! It hurt so much less than a regular wax!
Denise - i think you had mentioned that wax before so I wanted to let you know I found a place that did it!
Okay so I am so excited about my new place. . .  I had to run home and give you girls my review!

i was just talking about this at work ( lol yes at work) i just started this summer to get ready for hte wedding and now i dont care if i am living in a cardboard box. . . every month i am shelling out $40 to have this done. . . i will never go back!

yes! it is called serenity and it is so nice - i am definitely going to do all my wedding preparation there! lol
and it hurt MUCH less than the other ones i have gotten and it hurts for literally like a half second
its like OW ok its over. . . he he do that 5-6 times and thats it!

I agree! After you get it done once- you're hooked! Even if it's just for yourself every month. It's great

that included
going in
using the restroom
the waxing
paying
and the lady gave me a tour of the place!
and i just keep my eyes closed the whole time so its not so bad LOL

oh.
well i probably COULD go every three weeks but i go every month instead. . . and its not too bad
like i think next summer i am going to go every three weeks but then in the winter go like every five weeks - i am just trying to get my timing right for the wedding right now
