if you go back and read from when you posted that you wanted to be on this thread.. we told you that the person who started the threads, wedding was cancelled and SHE was no longer on this site.
We told you to post as you like on here.... sorry you are soo "hurt". You are new to this site and these threads, but dont make assumptions that people dont like you. You have 36 post.. take some time and understand the people you are talking about before you go and make dumb statements.

Check out Page 43 where it's stated 3 times and brides who think they were "forgotten" are made aware that they can not be added to the origional list.
Also on page 45 where other november brides said for the new girls to "jump right in"

im burning wooden leaf cutouts (from the craft store) with a wood burning tool (just so they look more real) and then just putting the name and table # on the front and back
there are lots of easy options for this...dont stress over it. a total easy thing to do is buy a pack of the templates for the tented cards (think michaels, staples)...then just follow the template.

We are attempting to make our own.
I'm making ours too. I bought the printable placecards from Gartner Studios at AC Moore for about $4 for each pkg of 48.
I set up MS Word according to the directions on Gartner's website, added in our a modification of our monogram design as background, and typed each name over that in our colors to match all of my DIY projects.
I'm not using them as placecards at each individual place setting. They're more like escort cards, so they'll look like this, only centered:
Mr. & Mrs. First Last Name
Table 1
I'm waiting until we do our seating charts to print them, b/c I want to type the table # on each, rather than write it in.
