RK Bridal Alterations

how are they when it comes to alterations? i have a feeling im going to need A LOT of alterations and fittings - between my extreme shortness and major boob padding and anal retentiveness

I've read past reviews that they are actually really good with alterations. I'm getting my reception dress there and I feel confident, based on past reviews that they will do a fantastic job... You figure, they do thousands of dresses every year and I have yet to see a bad review on this board!!

I've had all my BM dresses for weddings I was a BM in altered there and they were always great. My MOH bought her gown and had it altered there and loved it and another friend of mine bought her gown and had it altered there and loved it. Some of them don't speak perfect English (they're mostly hispanic) but if you point they will know what you're talking about without issue.

I made appointments for all my alterations last week but the last one i have scheduled is almost 2 weeks before the wedding. Should I call and make it alittle closer for the last fitting?

there is a jasmine dress i am dying to try on and i contacted jasmine and they told me RK should have that particular sample in a size 12. i am a size 0 so i hope that i can tell what it will look like on me

but anyway - i heard they have good prices - and that is what i care about most when it comes to getting a wedding dress!

even if i dont get that dress i think RK will have one of the best prices for any dress that i might like.....just want to make sure they do good alterations! because even the most expensive dress wont look right if it doesnt fit right!

The prices there are incredible. Really, you'll find it at the best price. If you're worried about alterations and have someone you like, you can even find your Jasmine Dress cheaper online and do the 'No Frills' program. They will beat the price by 5% and send it to you for your own alterations. I found my Watters bridesmaid dresses on netbride cheaper and RK will beat the price and send it to my bridesmaids.

Also, my advice, is that their shoes are GROSS there. Bring your own pair of heels when you try on dresses.
