I will be doing the newlywed chop! (with pix)

I don't think I'll go to a bob (I look awful with super-short hair) but I'm definitely going to get a major haircut after the wedding!

I got a haircut the day before my e-party in Aug (see pic 1) and then freaked out that it would be too short for the wedding. I've been growing it out since then (see pic 2 - from Sat night) and forgot how quickly my hair grows! I still have 9 more months till the wedding!

I have straight hair and might do curls for the wedding -- I don't know how much my hair will shrink 'up' so I want to leave some extra length. It will definitely be chop chop chop after the wedding though! (prob back to e-party length)

Anyone else growing their hair out for the wedding??

yup - growing it out from a sorta pixie cut i had last may. it's about an inch above my shoulders right now and freaking me out! i haven't had my hair this long since high school! i told my fh that the only way i'm getting through this is by promising myself that after the wedding i'm dying it black with blue streaks, then chopping it off before work begins in september. we'll see if that actually happens, but for now it's motivating. =0P

i am because i have no clue how i'm wearing it yet but probably wearing it down so i want options. it's almost to the middle of my back; i def need a trim!

yup, i'm growing my hair out for the wedding....after the wedding, I won't be doing a newly-wed chop, i'll be getting some funky highlights

I have been growing my hair out for years! it takes forever to grow and then just stops after a certain point. I am getting bored with it and still have a year to go so I will probably do the chop too!

Im not growing my hair for the wedding, i have naturally long hair, and very thick hair too, i dont look good with short short hair, but i definately like the length in the first pic, it looks perfect

thank you. probably not a good length for wedding hair though... I want to do half up half down, and if I decide to go with curls my hair would be REALLY short. If I decide to do straight I can always chop off the extra before the wedding!
