Invitations- BIG UGH!!!!- Vent

Ugh,

I bought the kits months ago and and finally decided to attempt to put them toghether with my parents on Friday night.. OMG I totally should have done this sooner because what seemed to be so 'simple' was totally the opposite.It didn't work at all. We couldn't get anything to match up. The sizes/fonts looked awful and was either too big (and wouldn't fit) or too small so you couldn't read.

Now I need to return them and find our own. Hopefully we can get the money back from AC Moore. Only 1 of them is open and everything is there so i don't know how that works.

That is exactly why I'm staying away from DIY's I have no patience.

ugh. that stinks! i'm sorry it was such a pain.
good luck finding ones that you love!
invitations by dawn delivers really quick so they'll be here with plenty of time for you to get them out.

aww im so sorry.

FH thinks im nuts for wanting to start the DIY stuff so early but thats exactly why... if i cant do it the way i want, i need time to order replacements

Oh man SO frustrating!! I feel like Im gonna go through that very same thing when I try to run the envelopes through the printer for the outside addresses

Yea unless you have done invites that way before it is really hard to jump in and use kits for something that is this stressful all ready. I had two people come into the print shop I work at and asked us to print them and after they heard the cost they figured it is easier to return and get a card package through a catalog.

Aw, I feel ya, we did our own and they turned out great! but it took a lot of sweat, blood, many hours and many mistakes before we got everything right...

I think my sister ordered from them several years ago. I found something I liked on there and we might order tomorrow. I don't want to do anything without FH and its been s hard with his schedule lately.

Thats how I felt, but kept on putting it off...make sure to give yourself plenty of time, i didn't
