OUR FIRST CHRISTMAS TREE IS UP!!!!!!!
DH and i have been together for almost 6 years and we never had a xmas tree, since we didn't live together. so last nite we put up our tree -- i'm so excited. i've never really cared about a xmas tree before....and now we have one in our living room.

well no pics yet--cause its not fully set up---its a pre-lit tree with clear lights---but i want some colored ones on it too. lol so DH is gonna put them on when he gets home--then i'll have pics ready for ya later!

okay hopefully tonite i take a pic of our tree--its nothing too fancy--but DH put the colored lights on it last nite and i put some little ornaments on it--i'm just proud of our first tree!
btw---how cute is my kitten.....he climbed up into the tree and slept inside of it. in case you didn't see the story in LIF last week---he was a little stray that got caught inside the undercarriage of an SUV and it took an hour to get him out! i was taking care of him for a week until my sister was ready to take him---and she took him yesterday. his name is Motor!

I love your tree and ornament It looks good. the cat sitting in the tree reminds me of Christmas Vacation when the squirrel (totally had to look that word up )was living in the tree and it jumps out at Clark. I hope Motor does not jump out and attach himself to your face.

no lunging at my face--yet. lol my friend got us a picture ornament---so we hung up just that one--and for some reason the kitten was drawn to it and had to lay next to it.

Congratulations! We've been together a long time as well and just put up our first tree - since last year we didn't get back from our honeymoon until 12/18 (and it was my first real tree). It was so exciting!
